Rose Mbula Before and After the accident |
November 2014 she travelled abroad to work; but the unfortunate happened to her. She went off until her mother Beatrice Nduva got a call from the Kenya High Commission in India who told her the heart breaking news. While at India she had an accident, she fell off from a SKYSCRAPPER. This was so severe that she broke her SKULL. She then went for an immediate surgery to stop the bleeding. Meaning her bones had to be preserved in her STOMACH for a future reconstructive surgery. The high commission in India only took care of the costs of the emergency since she had not cleared with them. Her family managed to bring her back to Kenya after she regained consciousness.
Since then she has been bed
ridden at home (Kilimambogo - Ol Donyo Sabuk) until last week when the media
brought her story to the limelight. She is currently admitted at Naidu hospital
in Thika after she could no longer take liquid food. The 25 year old has suffered
dehydration and some bed sores owing to her condition and being bed ridden. The
injury was so severe that it affected her jaws and hence she could not take
solid food, she cannot talk too.
